Paying homage to those who served in the Pacific Theatre, this replica medal honours the WWII Pacific Star. Instituted in May 1945, the WWII Pacific Star was bestowed upon armed forces personnel who had qualified for a specified period of operational service in the Pacific Theatre from December 8, 1941 to August 15, 1945.
