The 2023 international endurance race event was a real record setter, which included a circuit attendance of 53,446 fans! The Bathurst 12 Hour also created a new benchmark for fastest average speed in a Bathurst enduro. Sunday’s race was completed at an average speed of 167km/h, with the Safety Car deployed just four times after the start.
The Pro-Am race entry #99 was announced by Triple Eight Race Engineering, backed by Boost Mobile and Johor Motorsports Racing. Prince Jeffri Ibrahim was joined by former 12-Hour winner Jamie Whincup and newly signed Triple Eight Supercars enduro driver Richie Stanaway. Theevent marked Prince Jefri’s second outing at the endurance race, having claimed a podium in 2022 alongside Broc Feeney and Shane van Gisbergen. It was also Richie Stanaway’s first Bathurst 12 Hour race in a Triple Eight-prepared car. #99 scored a podium result for Triple Eight Race engineering at 3rd position in the Pro-Am Class!
