AN AUSTRALIAN INSTITUTION
The Commodore is Holden’s longest-standing and most successful nameplate. An Australian institution, the Commodore holds a special place in Australian sport. This is in part due to its participation in one of the world’s great touring car endurance races, the Bathurst 1000. Since the Commodore debuted on ‘the Mountain’ in 1980, it has won the event an unchallenged 27 times. Over its celebrated lifespan, the Holden Commodore has collected many major motoring awards and won the prestigious ‘Wheels Car of the Year’ award a record five times.
HONOURING A MUCH LOVED AUSSIE ICON
A fantastic tribute to this much loved Aussie icon, the collection comprises ten genuine Australian pennies issued during the reign of King George VI.
