Issued only from September 16 to October 1968, the 1968 Coombs/Randall $20 was printed in tiny numbers. Indeed, only 2% of all 1966-74 ‘Commonwealth’ banner $20 notes were issued during this signature combination! With a vast majority of those printed naturally issued for circulation, with many well-worn, withdrawn and destroyed, this important note is difficult to find in even average grade.
