Description:

An outstanding opportunity to create a complete collection in an instant, this set includes every 20c commemorative issued for circulation from 1966 to today – all in strictly Uncirculated quality!

Australia’s first two 20c commemoratives honoured the 50th anniversary of the United Nations (1995) and Sir Donald Bradman (2001) respectively. Hoarded out of circulation, both types are rarely found in change. The 2001 Federation Series was issued in the same year as the Bradman 20c, and took the series to a new level.

Issued for the centenary of Australian nationhood, the 2001 20c Federation Series comprises nine unique types – one for each of our nine States and Territories. Given that the annual average 20c mintage since 1966 is around 42m, the average States & Territories 20c mintage of 2.09m is amazingly low. Indeed, these are Australia’s lowest mintage circulating 20c coins!

Following the 2001 Federation Series, the RAM released the Volunteers 20c in 2003 and the WWII 60th Anniversary 20c in 2005. After a break of some five years, the ATO 20c was released in 2010, with the Royal Wedding 20c, Volunteers 10th Anniversary 20c and Women’s Day 20c issued in 2011. Seldom seen in circulation, the scarce Canberra 20c was issued in 2013.

Rendering the traditional search through change a thing of the past, the 1966-2013 20c Commemorative Pack comprises nine unique types – PLUS a bonus 1966-84 Platypus 20c – with the Federation 20c Unc Collection including nine States & Territories types, plus the Federation National Coat of Arms 50c.

Available individually at $129 apiece, buy both packs and SAVE $60!
